I'm currently not taking any medication. I've noticed that the redmarks on my cheeks have diminished some what. But my problem with ingrown hairs on my chin and mouth region have increased significantly. I've included some pics that show the change. Also I'm pushing my lower mouth area outward with my tongue so you can see it in better detail... I don't have a tumor!!

I lost count of the days I've been on this stuff and since my last update. Wow it's almost been four months.

Well I finished my accutane treatments, don't worry about the updates that came inbetween this one and my last. Nothing bad happened it only improved during that time. I've been off of it for almost two weeks and since then I no longer get zits or cysts on my cheeks. But now I get ingrown hairs when I shave. I've switch razors now and use a scrub but it's too early to tell a difference. I've included a lot of pictures to show my improvement, you may see some red spots on my chin these are from the ingrown hairs that formed zits.

Day Sixty Three of Accutane. I haven't updated in a while but nothing has really changed at all. Many of my redmarks are starting to diminish and getting lighter. I got one cyst on my cheek and a tiny zit on my chin. Well that's just the good news. The bad news is that when I visited my dermatologist he told me that I might be taken off Accutane if my next bloodtests continue to show an increase cholesterol and bad scores for the liver tests. Hopefully it all works out because Accutane is the only medication that has even gotten close to helping my acne.

Day Fourty Six of Accutane. I haven't gotten a chance to update in a while. But so far things have gotten alot better. My dermatologist upped my prescription to 40mg's twice a day. I had one zit on my cheek a couple of days ago which popped in the shower and bled quite a bit. That was my first zit in at least three weeks. My lips are still very dry and cracking but I can deal.

Day Twenty Six of Accutane. I haven't gotten any new breakouts in a couple of days, so far so good. *crosses fingers* Dryness is about the same, my chin dried out really bad though and it is kind of scabby. The corners of my lips are little cracked and chapped but that's it.

Day Eighteen of Accutane. Most of my whiteheads from last week are now gone and I haven't been getting anymore lately. My face is getting considerably drier and my lips cracked this morning but nothing that I can't deal with. So far so good.

Day Thirteen of Accutane. Most of my whiteheads have gone away either from healing or popping while I was washing my face. Most of left redmarks on my cheeks and all over my chin. My skin feels fine, not dry and I don't feel any soreness. Strange...

Day Eleven of Accutane. I had another break out, all whiteheads. Most of them were on my nose and a couple of them were on my cheeks.

Day Nine of Accutane. I started getting some back soreness which isn't too bad. A few white heads have come up but nothing of epic proportions. Dryness is starting to kick in a little.

Day Six of Accutane, nothing serious yet. I did kind of have another break out again mostly whiteheads.

Day Two of Accutane, nothing severe yet. Just redness and some soreness when I woke up but that was it.

Day Two of Accutane, I had a slight inital breakout but no severe side effects.
